Meet Sienna

Sienna is the definition of put-together and is fiercely competitive. Every scale polished to perfection, every glance is calculated with the precision of a chess grandmaster. Snakes have always been the underdogs in Scalesville, a notion amplified amongst highschool click groups. Viewed as the weaker breed, Sienna has had to fight fang and tail for every scrap of recognition and popularity, which are luxuries Lena glides through life enjoying without a second thought, thanks to the invisible privileges of being a dragon.

Her relationship with Lena is a classic clash of the queens. They are natural frenemies. The Homecoming Queen race is this year’s game to win. The Queen is elevated to higher status, not just in the highschool, but in the community, and is presented with promising opportunities for scholarships and internships in lucrative careers. Sienna enters with all the quiet intimidation of a coiled viper waiting to strike. Winning means more to her than anyone could ever know.

Despite the hard scaled first impression she gives off, she embodies emotional maturity beyond her years, Sienna feels for every overlooked creature in Scaleville because she is them. Sienna loses to Lena and accepts the news with poise and grace. Never one to lose herself, she’s committed to leaving a legacy of true character for the under class reptiles at SVHS.

When she is rewarded the crown, due to Lena’s failure, she has the choice to indulge in her new found title or take the high road and respond in humility. Will she use this opportunity to show the true and vulnerable snake that lives behind the perfect presentation, or will she manipulate her new found glory to increase her popularity?
