Although their friendship had yet begun, Lena feels a bond with Spyder from their shared experiences, not knowing that her campaign sticker played a part in Pip and Spyder’s success in saving the child dragon.

Pip and Spyder's mom discuss whether or not they will entertain a meeting with Hecubum and the Websters after Belle's health take a turn for the worse. Eager to get her son back to a normal routine, Pip's mom insisted it is not necessary, while Spyder's mom believes the boys are old enough to be involved.

Lena and her friends overhear whispers about the missing dragon, Belle. The cafeteria buzzes with excitement as news breaks that Pip and Spyder, two sophomores, are the heroes who discovered her. The crowd erupts in cheers, a mix of joy and relief, as emotions flood the room, shifting the focus from the Homecoming vote to Belle's miraculous return.

The hallway buzzed with lockers clanking and backpacks shuffling, but Kylee was on a mission. Darting through the crowd, she shoved stickers into every passing claw, yelling “Vote for Lena!” She barely notices the grumbles from whacking reptiles with her tail and nearly flattens a sophomore against his locker. Wix and Lena redirect her back to the booth to focus her effort on seniors, the only votes that matter.
