The day the team has prepared for is finally here. Wing Tails Sticker Studio is making its debut in the community by hosting a meet-and-greet event. The evening is coming together beautifully as they prepare to open their doors for the first time.
Wing Tails is a dream turned reality for Spyder, the investigator-turned-entrepreneur dragon who stumbled upon the abandoned factory on the forgotten side of Scalesville. The deserted machines and stacks of remnant stickers captured his curious mind, inspiring him to renovate the space. While preserving its historic architecture, he partnered with talented friends, Calisto, Lima, and Ashley, to weave a new sense of storytelling and purpose into the business.
Wing Tails is more than a sticker printing facility. It’s a coworking and event space, designed for after-school programs, art classes, and freelancers. Belle’s Nook serves as a tribute to the small dragon Pip and Spyder discovered 20 years ago, a story that deeply touched the families of Scalesville.
Now, Wing Tails Sticker Studio stands as a beacon of hope for this once-neglected corner of town. Though an outstanding fire permit has delayed the official grand opening, the team remains ready to carry forward with passion and purpose, knowing their vision has already begun to inspire.

“Eeek! Guests are starting to arrive!” Lima squealed, bouncing on her feet with a pitch of excitement only a teenage dragoness could produce. She pressed her snout to the glass and whispered, “It’s two purple dragons, an older one with tiny spectacles perched on his nose, and a younger celestial-looking dragon with a shimmering ring around her neck. Gorgeous!”
Spyder had just returned to the entryway, his eyes still rimmed from the bathroom breakdown he’d barely managed to hide. He squared his shoulders, drew a steadying breath, and stepped forward to greet their very first guests.
“Hecubum! What a pleasure.” Spyder bowed his head with genuine respect “I had hoped you would be the Webster to attend. Without your approval, we wouldn’t even be holding this tonight. Lima, Calisto,- this is Hecubum Horne, the Webster who approved the event and he also oversaw Belle’s case years ago.”
“Ah yes, we go way back don’t we, Spyder. I’ve practically watched you grow up!” Hecubum said chuckling. Calisto and Lima couldn’t figure if he was serious or just acting facetious. “And speaking of growing up, this is my daughter, Saturn.”
“I didn’t know you had a daughter, Hecubum? Spyder blinked in surprise and turned to shake Saturn’s hand.
“Yes, Saturn was in private school as a hatchling and she still stays buried in her studies most days,” Hecubum said with a wink. “Hard to get her out among dragons her age. Thought maybe tonight she’d meet someone. Maybe a date, eh?” He nudged Spyder’s shoulder with the tip of his wing.
“DAD!!! I’m standing right here!” Saturn hissed and then turned to Spyder, Calisto, and Lima. “Nice to meet you all. A beautiful place you’ve created here. It’s wonderful to see someone invest in this part of town. We’re thrilled to welcome Wing Tails Sticker Studio to Scalesville.
“Of course. Spyder, I forsee you’ll be seeing a lot more from Saturn here….” Hecubum began
“OKAY! Saturn. Let me give you a tour”, Calisto cut in with a bright smile, sliding a claw into Saturn’s and leading her toward the display wall before the conversation grew unbearable.
“Apologies for my dad. He doesn’t have much of a filter. Since my mother passed away, it’s been his mission to find me a suitor so I’m not “left alone when he dies”. You know, heaven forbid I’m single in my twenties. He can be a bit melodramatic.” She explained slightly embarrassed. “I think what my dad actually means is that I will be working with you all in the very near future.”
By now, the studio was pulsing with life. Dragons and reptiles filled the space wall to wall. In attendance were Spyder’s parents and his two older sisters, Pip’s aunt and younger cousins, Lena - Lima’s mom, Calisto’s best friend, and business owners from other businesses on the block. The air hummed with overlapping voices and laughter. Guests marveled over Ashley’s mural, while kids darted between legs, squealing as they discovered new stickers of playful dragons illustrated by Lima.
Hecubum became bored with teasing Spyder, so he meandered through the crowd to the front counter. He plucked a glass of champagne from a passing tray and raised his glass to make a toast.
